I think a lot of the negative comments stem from the observation that nothing in Mary's room makes any sense. There are lots of ways to make it on MFC (nude, explicit, non-nude, games, dancing, etc) but most of those rooms follow some sort of pattern. You can bounce into a non-nude room and see why they are making tokens (at least within the MFC logic).
